Public Speaking Skills for Life

Train to Speak Public Speaking training builds a strong foundation of communication skills for oral presentations, leadership and confidence building.

Years 5 and 6 students will  flourish with this public speaking development opportunity. Developing strong opinions on the world around them, these students are entering  an age of deeper understanding of issues affecting not just them but their community and world they live in. Students’ confidence soars as they learn methods to articulate and structure their ideas.  Students are given supportive and constructive feedback as they present their speeches in a non-threatening environment. This confidence building programme is also an excellent addition to your secondary transition programme.

Secondary Students develop mature confident communication when speaking to groups. Oral presentations are an important part of the curriculum throughout a student’s secondary school life. Strong communication skills attained through these workshops help students put the pieces of knowledge,  experience and opportunities in place for success in further education towards their chosen career.
